I'm testing virtualbox 1.6.2 on a win XP Pro SP3 as HOST over a notebook Centrino Core2Duo.
I've created a Fedora 9 VM guest without problems, the guest works well.
The problem is the host, if I enable IntelVT for the VM guest and start it Windows isn't able to hibernate (with VirtualBox stopped), Win says Hibernating, the screen comes black, the fan speeds up, no disk activity and I've to force power down.
Any idea? May be a bug in virtualbox?
Error hibernating windows HOST
I have experienced a similar problem, running VirtualBox 1.6.2 on Win XP SP3, Toshiba Tecra A6 Core Duo. As previous VT is enabled.
On any attempt to hibernate, even well after VirtualBox and the guest OS have been closed, my laptop powers down the screen without any disk activity but the system power remains on.
I gather there maybe someway I can submit a dump or log to get some advice from an experienced admin.

Any one of you tried 1.6.4? I'm having the same issue, though I don't use Windows anymore on my laptop (switched to Linux, but still have it installed on it, just in case). This issue has been addressed here before, but there weren't much replies or any possible fix.
