Stopped working on updated Ubuntu 8.04

Post by dror »

A few weeks ago I did a routine update of Ubuntu 8.04 and now VirtualBox is not working. When I stared it it told me to run

Code: Select all

/etc/init.d/vboxdrv setup
When I do, I get

Code: Select all

It seems that you either have a faulty linux-headers package, or none at all. Please check if you have the linux-headers-generic package (or whatever architecture you run (server, i386 etc.). Note that it won't run on the Xen kernel, but I doubt you are running that one.
