NAT on windows 7 VB 5.0.4

Hi, for some reason NAT is not working on my computer. It used to work though but since the update to 5.0.4 its not working any more. Bridged networking does work however I need NAT because on my school there is something with vpn stuff causing Bridging not to work because you can't get an IP don't completely but apparently I really need NAT.
Sys:
-Windows 7
-VB 5.0.4
-Killer wireless N-1202
Problem on: Ubuntu, Fedora,Windows server...
Anybody having the same issue or a solution?
Ps tried an older version again but that doesn't work any more either..
