Restart Windows 7 in safe mode?

Hi,
I just got problems with my VM Windows 7 Pro 64 bit on VBox 4.30 and Mac OS X 10.10.5.
How do I restart Windows 7 in "safe mode"?

The same way you do with a physical machine. Tap F8 while Windows is booting or use msconf.

When I press F8 (and I have Mac OS X as host) then iTunes start....
Even if I still keep F8 down safe mode is not started.

You need to change the function keys to act as standard function keys in System Preferences>Keyboard or hold down the "fn" key + F8.
