I have Virtualbox installed with no problems, but due to some other problem, I am unable to load the guest OS from the CD, I must use a ISO image
I have created the image using Nero under Windows and I am able to mount and view the image so the image file is ok
In the Virtualbox settings, I have the CD drive set as ISO image and have set the CD as the first boot device, but when I start the virtual machine I receive the 'No bootable media' error message
The host OS is Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron and the guest I am trying to install is Windows NT and then upgrade to Win2000
Booting from ISO
problem solved
I have solved this problem
The ISO image I made was from a bootable CD, but did not include the boot sector
I found this article which described how to make a bootable CD, I just saved as a ISO file instead of burning to CD and mounted this in Virtualbox
