Hi all. On my Windows 7 I had VB version 4.3.26 I updated VB and installed version 5.0.4. Now I have problem. When gust Os starts it runs too small window at upper left corner of the screen. I Can't resize window because when I trying to resize it returns to previous size. Does someone has same problem?

Please read the following: Minimum information needed for assistance. As far as the VBox.log.zip goes, here's what you do:
- Start the VM.
- Shut down the VM.
- Right-click on the VM in the VirtualBox Manager.
- Select "Show Log..."
- ZIP it and attach it in your response.

On top of that, I'd like to see the "<UserDirectory>\VirtualBox VMs\<YourVirtualMachine>\<YourVirtualMachine>.vbox" as well. Zipped of course...
Do NOT send me Personal Messages (PMs) for troubleshooting, they are simply deleted.

If you obfuscate any information requested, I will obfuscate my response. These are virtual UUIDs, not real ones.

  1. You have only 16MB of VRAM. Take it up to 32 or even 64 MB.
  2. You have the Guest Additions at 4.1.20. Boot in safe mode and update them.
Try these and report back. If it doesn't get fixed, then I need to see the zipped VM recipe, "G:\Virtual Box (Local)\Windows Xp Test\Windows Xp Test.vbox"

I seem to recall that running sfc /scannow on the host fixed this?
