Windows 2000 -- no vbox-cdrom driver found

Never had this problem before. Was trying to update to VirtualBox 1.6.2 (not the OSE version) in openSuSE 10.3. Everything went okay, until I uninstalled the Guest Additions, rebooted and was unable to re-install the new Guest Additions. In Control Panel the CD-ROM has a red X. When I go to Properties it tells me that the vbox-cdrom driver could not be found. Is there a way to install that driver? If I could do that, I think I could get the Guest Additions loaded.

Thanks for any help.

I found out that, if I mount a bootable CD in VirtualBox before starting it, it will see the CD. So it's not VirtualBox, itself, that is screwing up. It's got something to do with the Guest Additions in Win2K. They must not have uninstalled cleanly -- instead there must have left something in the Registry that is getting in the way.

Windows and it's *&^^% Registry.

I'll let everyone know when (if) I figure this out.
