XP won't "hold" some software 'settings'

Not sure if this is a host (Sidux) VB issue, or a guest (XP) issue:

Each time I start iTunes and Quicken (2 I've noticed so far), after rebooting into the guest OS, I have to re-import all my music (iTunes) and repoint Quicken to it's database file (which is on a native XP install on different partition).

It 'holds' during the session, but I have to do it again after rebooting into the virtual XP...

I seem to recall a previous VB XP that didn't have this problem...

Does option "save state" also forget about the configurations?

I don't see a "save state" option anywhere.

You're not talking about "take snapshot", are you?

No. Main menu: Machine->Close->Save the machine state. Something like MS hibernate.

No. "Save Machine State" seems to work fine (And, good lord, it's way faster than rebooting!).

My Quicken database was available after restarting without having to repoint the software...

What does that tell us? A reasonable workaround, perhaps...

Well if others configurations are being saved properly, and only this app seems to function improperly, then it's up to that app. right?!
