Losing days for Windows evaluation software

I am using Windows Server 2008 R2 Evaluation OS and it looses all 60 days in just one day. Students are losing all their work in the classroom. Any suggestions

Do you have any evidence that this has anything to do with VirtualBox? It sounds like a Windows problem to me.

Given how old it is, I'd suspect deliberate policy by Microsoft. That is not the Windows server version they want you to evaluate.
