Problems networking 2 windows guests/2 systems

Post by phantom21 »

Here's what I'm trying to do:

Two systems, A and B
A is a Linux machine which I've set up with virtualbox and Windows XP Pro as a guest. I've already set up a bridge to allow it to act as a server, sharing some folders and also want to save SQL Server Express and serve a database using that (client need)

I want to set up system B, Linux system with Windows XP Pro as a guest, and have it connect to system A for it's documents and the database.

System B doesn't see system A and when I try to create the ODBC connection, it also doesn't see A.

The B guest is set up with the default NAT. Do I need to create a bridge with B also for it to connect to A?

Any hints and help would be appreciated.
