can't attach parallel port to any guest host

Hi,
if I configure a parallel port on a guest machine I get this error and can't start it:
Host is Debian 4.0
Guest is WinXP with latest guest additions installed
VirtualBox is 1.6.2 version
I configured port LPT1 ( IRQ 7 E/S 0x3BC ) to /dev/lp0
rights at /dev/lp0 are 666
If I disable parallel port, virtual machine works fine, any suggestions?
