Hi all,

yesterday night I upgrade my existing Vbox 1.6 installation to 1.6.2. When I booted my XP VM today, I could not time in my password, because the letter keys don't work, however, numbers do work on the main keyboard!!
Also the host key is working.

None of the keyboard-posts I checked so far, does help. I did not expect that really since under 1.6.0 the keyboard did work correctly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi

seems like the opposite action from what I read in various keyboard problem post is required in my case to fix the missing letter keys. In the language support window I enabled complex character support. After reboot, the full keyboard was working again in the VM.

Maybe that information is useful for someone else.
