Hi.
I'm using Vagrant 1.7.2 to spin up a Ubuntu 14.04 box (guest OS), running in VirtualBox 5.0.2 on Windows 7 64-bit (host OS). Everything works fine, except that rather frequently the content browsers (Firefox and Chromium) render doesn't appear as they should. I've seen it happen in the default gnome-terminal too, when scrolling, but I can't reproduce that now.
To reproduce this, simply follow the instructions here: http://dockerclass.com/preparations/
After the VM is up, open a browser and navigate to this forum, perhaps . Start scrolling with your mouse wheel and in seconds you should see rendering issue.
I saw the same graphical glitches on 4.3.x, but that happened very rarely. Now it happens very easily.
Attaching screen photos from my camera (since when moving the mouse outside the virtualbox windows, seems to cause a full redraw of the application window (the browser) and that clears all problems.)
I do _not_ see this issue when using the keyboard to scroll down or up with arrow keys.
I do see this issue even when the browser itself redraws, like when following the output on Go.cd server (or Jenkins for that matter).
You can see the photos here: http://hemma.wendt.se/virtualbox/
Thanks in advance for any pointers on what I can try to get away from this nasty bug!
/ Fredrik

Re: Graphical rendering bugs Ubuntu 14.04 Guest, VirtualBox
This looks like a missconfigured VM or a missmatching guest additions & virtualbox version, both of which you need to take with the VM provider.
We do not support Vagrant or related VMs here. If you can reproduce the issue in a VM you've created yourself only using VirtualBox, then we can help.
