Virtualbox 5.0.4, Windows 10 guest, OpenSuSE 13.2 host, 64-bit host and guest.
Problem: the guest OS does not see any USB devices. Tested USB 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0.
Already added user to vboxusers group, which worked in the past. Any suggestions welcome.
VB 5.0.4 Win 10 guest not seeing USB
Re: VB 5.0.4 Win 10 guest not seeing USB
For those wondering, I was unable to get USB devices to show up in the Win 10 guest except when running as root. Even making vboxusers the primary group of the user and granting world read/write access to /dev/vboxusb/* (already group vboxusers) didn't work. I had to run VirtualBox as root. The same was true of several Win 7 guests I tried, so I suspect the problem is somewhere in version 5.0.4.

You could try VB 5.0.6 or even the current test build.
