I have a work laptop (windows 7) which they have recently "nurfed" by knee capping my ability to use applications they haven't approved (Dropbox, Photoshop... even Java updates etc etc). So my plan is to Purchase a new Surface Pro 4 (when they are released soon) and run my work laptop as a virtual machine (for the purpose of VPN and access to email/calendar etc... they operate under white-listing policies for accessing the network, so installing the VPN cert isn't enough).
So, couple of questions:
1) Assuming Surface Pro 3 specs (256 Gb, Intel i5 1.9 Ghz, 8Gb RAM), how do you think this set up would perform on virtualbox?... reading the blogs I'm concerned about lag.
2) How long do you think it'll be before Virtualbox is stable on Win 10?
3) Are there other work arounds to my problem that I am ignoring?
