Hello,
My setup is
Windows 2008 R2 64 Bit
This is running Virtual Box
I have created a Windows 7 64 Bit Guest OS
On that OS I have installed Virtual Box
I want to try to install Laravel Homestead as a development environment laravel . com/docs/5.1/homestead
As far as I can see, you can install a vm inside another vm, when I try to boot the guest os inside the vm I get the following message
VT-x/AMD-V hardware acceleration is not available on your system. Your 64 bit guest will fail to detect a 64 bit CPU and will not be able to boot.
When I look at the settings for the guest os the acceleration tab is greyed out.
Question is, am I trying to do the impossible?
Run Laravel Homestead On Windows 7 VM Client Which Is Hosted

Yes.
Nested virtualization is not supported in VirtualBox. You may get 32-bit guests to work albeit really slow but that is still not supported.
