Re: Problem to network adapter
I have not seen this message before, but it seems to be saying that the version of VirtualBox you are running (installed for the current user) does not match the driver versions located in the Windows System folders - perhaps a later "all users" installation.
You may need to uninstall VirtualBox - and make sure it is completely gone in each user account - then reinstall VirtualBox for all users.

Re: Problem to network adapter
Thanks. I did try to uninstall Vbox on Control panel and then have re-setup Vbox but the problem persists.
There was previously to the internet connection and did re-configure it using the auto. tool of Win 8.1 and after this, this problem (of Vbox) did appear.

Re: Problem to network adapter
Then post a VM log file. With the VM fully shut down, right click and "Show Log" in the GUI, save "VBox.log" (ONLY) to a zip, and attach the zip here.

Re: Problem to network adapter
The problem happened, when I tried to start the VM. How to tick "Show Log"?

With the VM fully shut down, right click it the GUI. Select "Show Log" from the menu. Of course your menu may not be in English, but I assume that it's obvious which menu item you should select.

Well, I can't work without data, so I'm afraid I'm out of ideas. I still think you have a mixture of VirtualBox versions installed on this host.

Re: Problem to network adapter
It seems the reason is I cannot "thoroughly" remove the setup of Vbox.
