Hello
i am wondering if i chose to have a shared folder with the host machine is a log of this kept somewhere in a config or text file?? or somewhere in registry?
also when transferring a file from the guest to host OS is the file first copied in the Temp folder or anywhere else and then in shared folder or directly?
are the traces and logs of transfer kept anywhere??
thank you

Re: Shared folder logs
If you make the shared folder permanent (non transient), then the info is kept in the VM config.justlearning wrote:If i chose to have a shared folder with the host machine is a log of this kept somewhere in a config or text file?? or somewhere in registry?
Directly in the shared folder AFAIK but not being a developper, I cannot assure it.justlearning wrote:also when transferring a file from the guest to host OS is the file first copied in the Temp folder or anywhere else and then in shared folder or directly?
