Bridged Adapter only IPV4

I've attempted to setup a second NIC to be the dedicated NIC for my Virtualbox Host. I've deselected everything but "VirtualBox Bridged Networking Driver" in the Local Area Connection 2 Properties. When I select "Bridged Adapter", my adapter does not show up unless I check both "VisualBox Bridged Networking Driver" and "Internet Protocol Version 4". I do not want my physical host to obtain an IP address from this network. What could be wrong?

Physical Host- 8 GB RAM 64-bit Windows 7 Pro
Virtual Host- 4 GB RAM 64-bit Windows 7 Pro
Network Adapter- Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller
Virtual Box Guest Additions have been installed.

Attempted fixes so far...
Reboot. Repair install VirtualBox. Reboot. - No Change.
Select IPV4. Start virtual machine. Unselect IPV4. - Temporary fix. Works fine. Breaks on next virtual boot.

I'm running in to this problem as well. I think it may be a "bug" in the latest version? I know it worked before I lost everything last week and had to start from scratch. I'm not sure I remember the last service that was installed on my NIC, but the newest one that was installed with this version is "VirtualBox NDIS6 Bridged Networking Driver". Any help with this problem would be appreciated!

Perhaps it's a version problem then. This is working for me on another machine with version 4.3.10 r93012. I'll try to download that specific version and see if that resolves the problem on this machine.

Confirmed! I downloaded the old version from...

The forum won't let me post links, so search google for -> VirtualBox-4.3.10-93012-Win.exe

Uninstalled VirtualBox, checked keep settings. Rebooted. Installed 4.3.10. It works great now. I'm not sure how far back the bug goes, but I've confirmed a fix in 4.3.10 93012

Thanks for the confirmation. I was certain that it was a problem with this release. I hope they push a fix soon!

*edit*

For those who haven't looked deeper into this, version 5.0.2 does not have this issue, but 5.0.4 does. So a simple uninstall of 5.0.4 and reinstall of 5.0.2 fixes the issue.
