Failed to open session (Windows 10 host, VBX 5.0.2)

I have VMs that worked fine in Windows 8.1 + Virtualbox 4.x but now they fail to launch.

If I switch back and forth between running VBX as admin and as a regular user, eventually the VM will start successfully and then it runs without problem but it takes several attempts to get there.

Failed to open session for the virtual machine...
Cannot load R0 module C:\Program Files\Oracle\VirtualBox/VBoxDDR0.r0: SUPR3LoadModule: supLoadModule returned VERR_LDR_MISMATCH_NATIVE (VERR_LDR_MISMATCH_NATIVE).
Failed to register ourselves as a PCI Bus (VERR_MODULE_NOT_FOUND).

That is a known issue which should be fixed in VBox 5.0.4
