Virtualbox 5.4 crashes to main window when using drag n' dro

My host OS is Windows 10 and I am using Virtualbox 5.4 with the latest guest additions. My problem is that every time I try to use the drag n' drop feature the guest OS window crashes back to the main Virtualbox window and says the OS was aborted. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
