Use GTX 980m on laptop with Mac OS X 10.10.1 guest
Hello, I currently own a MSI GE70 which contains a GTX 980m as a gaming gpu, I am wondering if there is anyway to make VirtualBox use the GTX 980m instead of the Intel integrated graphics to run a Mac OS X 10.10.1 guest on a Windows 10 host. Sorry if its a dumb question and thank you for your time...

You cannot force VirtualBox to use it, and even if you did, whatever software running in the guest would not be aware of it (only a virtualized GFX is presented) so it won't be of any use.Sycho56 wrote:I am wondering if there is anyway to make VirtualBox use the GTX 980m instead of the Intel integrated graphics...
VMs are not designed (at least in this "era") to run games or heavy graphical applications.
