Help: 3D Failure on Virtualbox XP

I have installed Virtualbox to install XP on it today. I installed the guest settings with 3D in safe mode. I've set the graphics on 128MB, RAM on 1,5GB, activated 2D and 3D acceleration. I want to play Black & White 2 on it. But I get a failure when I start the game: "could not create 3D device". What am I doing wrong?
