Guru Meditation - VERR_REM_VIRTUAL_CPU_ERROR

Hi

I've been using VirtualBox for a while 4.3.18 - 4.3.30 where is have a VM with a live snapshot
after upgrading to 5.0.4 i stumbled on various problems but i'll tackle the one by one.
the first one is: "Guru Meditation - VERR_REM_VIRTUAL_CPU_ERROR"
reverting back 4.3.30 runs the VM fine but not with 5.0.4

Host: Windows 7 x64
guest: Linux based OS

Until you provide clear steps how to reproduce the problem, there probably isn't anything to be done. In this case the log files probably aren't sufficient. And "Linux based OS" is more than a little vague.
