Hello,
I am new here and don't have any experience so I need help because my work depends on this solution.
I installed Windows 10 Guest on OS X Yosemite 10.10.5 (VB 5.0.4) and in VM I would like to use USB device (fiscal thermal printer) which uses USB cable but in Windows it appears as a Serial port (COM3). It works fine in classic Win10 computer and in VM it also appears in bottom USB device list but when I want to capture this device, following message appears:
I guess it is used by OS X, Is there some way, how to disconnect it from OS X and make it available for VM Windows 10 Guest?
Any suggestions or advices will be appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Windows 10 Guest USB-serial port issue
Moved to OS X hosts.
Re: Windows 10 Guest USB-serial port issue
Solved by myself
Added blank USB filter and turned on device after VM started, and it appears in system device list.
