Hi guys.
I am trying to run CISCO IOU WEB on my windows 10. It uses cent os 6.5 version. I have virtual box 5.0.2 r. I cant figure how to run the host-only adapter. I tried reinstalling it and adding it again but with no luck. I also tried to give it dhcp address instead of static again with no luck. I found out how to add the network host-only adapter in the preferences menu but that doesnt also work. Any ideas? A friend of mine is running it on win 8.1 with no problems. Is there a chance that the problem could be with the win 10. And if yes how can i fix it? I am applying a screen with the problem
Tnx in advance.

Re: Windows 10 host-only problem
There was an ongoing issue with the host-only adapter and Windows 10. I don't know if it's fixed yet. Try the current test build and see.

YW. "still a error" and "isnt running as it should" are vague. Could you post the error and describe what you mean by "isnt running as it should"?

Re: Windows 10 host-only problem
I don't see the connection between that and the host only adapter, unless the vm is supposed to be accessing data on the host.
The host only adapter is a pretty straight-forward device. It is simply an interface on the host which allows the guest to communicate directly with the host (and vice versa). If you set the NIC in the vm to the host only option, it should automatically get an IP address from DHCP (probably 192.168.56.101) and will be linked to the host through the host only interface (IP 192.168.56.1).
Is the NIC in the vm set to the host only option? What IP address does it have? Can you ping between host and guest?
