Windows 10.x - No Network
Posted: 3. Sep 2015, 22:53
I've searched, read and tried just about everything I can find and so far, no luck ... so I'm obviously missing *something* ...
Host: Mac OS X (El Capitan)
- Windows 8.1 worked perfectly fine
Vbox: 5.0.2
- Windows 10.x upgraded with 5.0.2 VBox Guest Additions
Network Adapter in GUI: Intel PRO/1000 MT Desktop
Network Type: Bridged *or* NAT ... tried both
Go into Device Manager, the Device says "This device is working properly", and if I right click on it, it says it is Enabled. This is after I had to "Re-install Driver".
Go into Network Settings -> Change Adapter Options, it shows the Device as Disabled ... right click and click 'Enable', a window pops up that goes from "Enabling" -> "Enabled" and then disappears ... but the device stays Disabled ...
If I right click on the device and go to Properties ... its all blank, as if nothing is loaded ... ?
I found this article (viewtopic.php?f=8&t=60883) talking about disabling IPv6 on the Mac side ... tried that, made no difference.
Now, I know others have this working, so figure there is something that should be obvious that I'm missing ... but I can't find it ...
Suggestions?
