USB error with VB 5.0.2, Window 10 guest, Windows 7 64 host

I would like to upgrade to Windows 10 from windows 7 64. I am testing different soft- and hardware in VM first to be sure. Then I saw I could not connect to my two external USB drives, where I had made my Windows 7 backup. VB seems to connect without any problem and announces the drives under the VB USB devices icon. When a drive is chosen, this is also reflected in the VB device list. The drives however do not show in explorer and when I look under "Devices" in Windows 10 (Settings), it says there is a driver error for the device.

VB itself has the USB port activated with USB version 1.0. Trying to change this causes an error - can't even disable it! Has anyone else had the same problem or at least give me a hint as to where I should start looking? I have suspected the extension pack and I have downloaded the Oracle_VM_VirtualBox_Extension_Pack-5.0.2-102096.vbox-extpack file, but how do I install it?

Please help!

Thanks in advance,
Errol

OK.... The one drive installed with no problem. The older Seagate drive gave me a funny error message which I found out was because Windows could not find an update on-line. As soon as I stopped the on-line search, it loaded the right drivers and now it is working as well!

I am sorry I wasted your time, but I hope you all had a good laugh!
