Hello Masters
I am running my VM on an external USB 3 drive (formatted extFAT) from my Macpro (which has USB3 port)
It all works fine as long as I only have one virtual vmdk drive (used for the VM SUSE operating system)
The issue start when I try to add/create an additional vmdk drive on my USB 3 External Drive: The VM freezes after few seconds not even reaching the stage of loading the OS. I have to manually kill the Virtualbox Process to make it work. The last message I see in the log is:
00:00:01.427642 DrvBlock: Async flushes will be passed to the disk
00:00:01.427842 AIOMgr: Endpoint for file '/Volumes/EXTFAT/VirtualBox_VM/SAP Linux/NewVirtualDisk1.vmdk' (flags 00040723) created successfully
00:00:01.493532 AIOMgr: Endpoint for file '/Volumes/EXTFAT/VirtualBox_VM/SAP Linux/NewVirtualDisk1-flat.vmdk' (flags 000c0781) created successfully
00:00:01.493796 AIOMgr: Host limits number of active IO requests to 0. Expect a performance impact.
Is there any way to have a VM with multiple VMDK running from the same External USB Drive?
Thanks in advance
External USB Storage
