may somebody suggest some solution?

The guest OS is talking to a USB3 device, which means that the guest OS has to support USB3 too.

XP doesn't have USB3 drivers, period, or at least none that are useful in a VirtualBox VM. For XP you can continue to use previous workarounds, i.e. plug the device into a USB2 port, or into a USB2 hub plugged into a USB3 port.

Windows 7 doesn't have native USB3 drivers, but xHCI drivers are easily found online.

Hi I have installed on my windows 7 64 then Intel(R)_USB_3.0_eXtensible_Host_Controller_Driver that is up and active, the xhci is enabled on the VM but still cannot see any plugged device.

I am missing something?

@angman,

Did you install the extension pack ( on the host ) that matches the installed version of VirtualBox, and have you also added your user to the vboxusers group ( also on the host )?
