how to ping between virtual xp host ??

hi, i have installed virtual box 5.0 and i have also installed two xp virtual machine.

i don't understand how to configure virgual box to enable PING between these two hosts.

can you help me ?

There is nothing to enable in VirtualBox. Networking protocols such as ping (ICMP) are a matter for the guest.

It's just the same as if you had two physical PCs - if they are both on the same network and the guests are configured appropriately then you will be able to ping between them.

Again, just like on a physical PC, the type of network is also important. PCs that use NAT can't receive pings (they are not present on the externally accessible network), though they can send them. For full ping capability you need to be using either internal networking (if the VMs don't need to include the internet or the host), or host only networking (if the host must be on the network but not the internet portal) and, finally, bridged networking gives the VM full peer status on the network you join it to.
