Losing communication with vm if i add a vlan id

I have a windows host OS and in that i have installed virtualbox 4.3 and created a vm with win7 Enterprise guest OS. Intel adapter is configured for vm and i have also installed the ans(Advanced Networking Services) driver for using vlan. Host PC is having Broadcom adapter. The e1000 extension pack is also installed for the virtualbox. I am using bridged adapter in virtualbox.
Now if i add a vlan id 33 to the vm, i cannot ping it and if i remove the vlan id then i can communicate with it. I could not find the problem. I sniffed the network packets and i could not see the vm(when no vlan id assigned) sending vlan packets. If it is not sending vlan packets then how is it able to communicate outside.
