Hi,
I try to install Windows 95 on my Virtual Box hosted on a MacBook Air end 2013 and I got this error:
SUWIN caused a General Protection Fault in module <unknown>0A77:A95aiSUWIN will close.
Need help please! Windows 7 x64 and Windows XP x86 run without any issues.
Thanks,

Because they're capable of running on a modern CPU. Windows 95 crashes on anything newer than about 1998 because it can't handle "fast" CPUs.guillaumesoucy wrote:Need help please! Windows 7 x64 and Windows XP x86 run without any issues.

I find Windows 95 will work on most systems, but can have problems if you give it too much to play with.
To start with, turn off VT-x. Limit RAM to under 64Mb (32Mb is probably more reliable), and don't make the hard disk too big - if you are using the original Windows 95 (with only FAT16) then define a hard disk of less than 512Mb; OSR2 (using FAT32) can handle a bit more.
