Windows 2008 R2 and Virtualbox closing

Hello,
I'm having a problem with a Debian VM hosted on a Windows 2008 R2 server. There is an intermittent problem where virtualbox is closing and the VM is getting powered down. Nothing telling in either Windows Event Viewer just USB errors in Vbox logs. Whenever disable the USB adapter, Vbox throws up a warning and then re-enables it after my changes are saved. Any idea how I can keep my VM up and running?
