Greeting Dear Community

I download the vbox 5 and install the extension pack.
It seems my linux guest recognize the xt1045 android device that connect to my window host
However, I cannot see the files from that device.

What I try to do is to root my xt1045 following this

Any recommendation on how I can go about rooting an android device from a vbox linux guest on a window host ?
