I have guest additions installed.

Re: Auto resize windows 10
Auto-resize Guest Display works with Windows 10 guests on Linux, OSX and Windows hosts. Make sure it's enabled in the View Menu. Attach the compressed VBox.log here for the guest.

Re: Auto resize windows 10
I have maybe same or similar problem as well. Auto-resize and seemless mode do not work.
Before with Windows 8.1 host and Windows 7 guest it worked. After upgrading host and guest the guest does not resize anymore. Reinstalled already everything but still the menu for auto-resize is grayed and not selectable. In vbox.log it says "VMMDev: Guest Additions capability report: (0x0 -> 0x0) seamless: no, hostWindowMapping: no, graphics: no" what makes me thing the guest additions report to be not capable of adopting the guest screen to the host screen and seemless mode.
