You open a terminal on the host, then you type exactly what I posted one at a time to get the information I need and then you post that to a reply here.

OK first thing to do is uninstall the 4.3.30 extension pack, then install the 4.3.24 extension pack.

In the main manager, find the preferences and then to extension packs. Remove it from there and install it there as well.

I will let someone that uses Mac as host to explain since I don't use it, but I am sure that you should be able to find preferences. Once there you select extensions and do the work from there.

After some time i found the information i looked for. I have deleted the old guest addition, and installed the new.
the shared folder is now working for me. When i plug my USB storage device in, i can see it in the guest operating system. But windows fail to install the driver.
