Following the instructions here on the forum I have successfully upgraded my win7 VM to windows 10. Its working very well, but for one thing - I cannot properly shut it down. If I select "shutdown" from the start menu the system shuts down, but rather than close the "blank" monitors (like it used to), virtualbox instead waits for a while, and then restarts windows! Clicking reboot, reboots the system as per normal, but without the extended delay with nothing showing on the virtual monitor.
Any one know how to fix this? I'm running vbox version 5.0.0, with updated extension pack and guest additions. Host is Ubuntu Linux, 14.04.
