Greetings! I desperately need help.
I wanted to use an android emulator and it installed virtualbox. Suddenly the emulator asked to access the internet and then suddenly the connection became inoperative. I saw an unidentified network and had no internet connection. I uninstalled the applications, but this did not resolve the issue. A technician took a look and advised to roll back to a point before the installation. This also did not resolve the problem, so he advised to reinstall windows, which I did. Now, however, I see no networks, no connections and it tells me that no ethernet cable is plugged in when it evidently is. What did virtualbox change when it created the unidentified network and why did these measures not get rid of it? What can I do to get my laptop to recognize the cable connection and reconnect to the net? Thanks a lot in advance!

Sorry, my fault, I wasn't entirely understanding your question. I take it you didn't do a clean install of Windows. You could look in Device Manager and see if any VirtualBox network drivers are still there.
