Problem with the display driver (Update Win7 to 10)

Hello,

I have a problem by updating Windows 7 (ultimate, 32 bit as guestsystem) to Windows 10:

The gwx.exe says that the display driver is not compatible to Win 10.

So I deinstalled the guest addtions, restartet the computer. The device-manager now says "Standard VGA driver" but gwx.exe finds furthermore "VirtualBox Graphic Adapter".

So what can I do to update the system?

The way with installing by the media creation tool does not work, too. The system can't boot...

Thank you for help!

Micha

I had the same issue. Ended up using the Media Creation Tool: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/wind ... ol-install

Using the Media Creation Tool produces another error - see attachment. (Sorry, it's german.)

I tried to update a 32-bit Win 7 Ultimate to Win 10 pro, 32 bit.
