VB and Kali= No internet

Guys im about on m last nerve here, ive been messing with this for the last 6 hours.... Im a newb getting into Pen testing, never used Linux before. Well Im currently reading a Pentesting book and trying to get setup so I an begin. Well after many hours of reading FAQS and everything in between, im stuck with no internet connection. I open iceweasel but the connection eventually times out. The eth0 says its connected at the top....Ive disabled ipv6 as this was the first thing suggested and nothing. Ive changed from NAT to Bridged and selected my network card and nothing. Talk about feeling like an idiot, I cant even set up my VM in chapter 1 to begin learning
