VirtualBox 1.6.2 for Linux

Post by rhafemeister »

Hello,

I'm curious to know if a version 1.6.2 actually exists?
I can only get a hold of 1.6.0.

Thanks

Bob

VirtualBox 1.6.2 hasn't been released yet. Nor has a solid date when it will be released. Personally, I rather them take their time and not rush (:

I am very much looking forward to when they release it. I know that one fix it contains resolves a bluescreen issue with iTunes and shared folders that has been driving me nuts as of late.

I was told on Friday last week that it would be 'in a couple days'

Note also this link

There is a 'testcase' directory created on May 29th and updated June 3rd that is password-locked. I am assuming that contains an internal beta of 1.6.2.

Release is likely imminent.

New testcase directory today (June 5). Seem to be a very disciplined release process. No wine before its time.
