One of my friends moved the set file to the trash and then permently deleted it. I no long have SET as an option and i have tried apt-get install set(with no help) and when I try to use the link from {link removed by mod} didnt work either.
I would rather not start another VM so any help would be most appritiated.

Re: I lost SET
I fail to see why this would have anything to do with VirtualBox. What OS is running in the guest machine?

NVII, here's the problem with the question you're asking.
Imagine you have a car, and you have a smart phone with a text writing app on it. While you are in the car the text writing app crashes. Would you call the manufacturer of the car to ask why the app crashed? No. The car is only there to move you around, not to run your app.
Virtualbox is merely providing simulated hardware for the OS and programs you are running. If the OS boots up, then Virtualbox is doing its job and can do no more. Now you have to contact the OS and program people and ask them how to get your command back. Seeing as how the Social Engineer Toolkit is the program you wish to fix, you need to contact them.
