I have Windows 7 running in a VM and I'd like to upgrade(?) to Windows 10. When I run the update in Windows, it complains about the VirtualBox graphics adapter. This same adapter works fine in VMs that were created as Windows 10. So, is there some necessary secret incantation required to upgrade W7 to W10? Will it be necessary (possible?) to install W7 as a W10 guest and then upgrade?
