Hi guys , help please. Can't add USB devices to XP guest. Downloaded VB XP into Windows 8.1 some time ago without problem except I could not adjust screen view size from very small. However I had no problem installing my old but excellent accounts system and restored data to it from a USB stick and all worked well apart from screen size. I kept on using old computer just for accounts as VB screen size was to small. Have just upgraded to Windows 10 which went very well. Oddly enough I can now adjust screen view size no problem, great, but now can't seem to add any USB devices to restore data to the accounts system or attach a printer. The printer is wireless through my BT 5 hub. It was all very easy originally and can't see what I'm doing wrong. If I can sort this I can remove my old computer I have been using just for accounts. I also upgraded to latest VB again without problem or so I think.
Thanking you in anticipation.
Regards Dennis

The extension pack is required for USB2 and USB3 support. Did you install it? The extpack version must match the installed version of VirtualBox.

Hi mpack
Thanks for quick reply. Not quite sure how but seem to have resolved it and added printer as well albeit with a USB cable as opposed to wireless. Is wireless possible with VB. I will check out EXT pack as not sure if I did or not. I have to say I am quite pleased how this all works great on Windows 10 but I did give up on Windows 8.1 as nothing seemed to go right but found this with a lot of my programs. Windows 8.1 virtually wrecked my business web site by causing problems with software but 10 absolutely fine. So glad to be shot of 8.1 particularly as I am a PC idiot and OAP.
