Hi, I've been trying to set up a Virtual XP machine, and I've seen many online tutorials about mounting the XP iso file onto the machine so it can boot, so I know I have to do that step next except the the Controller:IDE is not actually clickable for I don't know why.
I can't mount the iso file to the "IDE Primary Master" as a result. I can mount it to the "IDE Secondary Master" but it the virtual machine gives me the "Fatal Could not read from Boot Medium" message.
I've attached two pictures, one showing how the Controller IDE is grayed out but it shows the potential to attach a file.
And the second picture shows me able to mount the iso onto IDE Secondary Master (but as I've said, the computer still doesn't boot in this case). I don't think it can actually read the file.
Please help me.

Re: Controller:IDE is not clickable
The file you have listed is just a service pack. You need to buy Xp. Keep in mind XP has been EOL ( MS does not support it anymore ) for well over a year.
