Need help with 4.3.30

Post by iShotZz | Techy Gamer »

I had a problem with the VM driver in 4.3.12/other versions and got that fixed with a simple coding change. Now it's saying VBoxDD.DLL doesn't work? Well I need help. Logs are attached. Thanks in advance at all times. I created a zip file with ALL the log files.
SOLVED: I had to load the backup uxtheme.dll in Windows it seems. Now my VM starts. Thank you for the help!!!!!!!!!

Code: Select all

00:00:13.333624 supR3HardenedErrorV: supR3HardenedScreenImage/NtCreateSection: cached rc=VERR_LDRVI_NOT_SIGNED fImage=1 fProtect=0x10 fAccess=0xf cHits=32 \Device\HarddiskVolume2\Program Files\Razer\Razer Cortex\D3DX8Wrapper.dll
Besides being very low on RAM to the point you are over-committing the memory the above is what is really causing this issue. Razer drivers are not signed.

Ahh, so it's trying to access my Razer Cortex drivers. I really need to uninstall that thing.......
And also it happens on my Win 3.1 VM. 32 MB of ram on that.

Bear in mind that I have COMPLETELY removed Razer Cortex, which's program files contained that DLL driver. I have used IObit's Uninstaller to remove it, and restarted, because it told me that some files were going to be deleted on reboot. I just rebooted and launched VBox. NOTHING changed at all.

The log will be in the attachments here. As I said, nothing changed; maybe it's trying to use the driver and it doesn't even exist?
Something IS definitely wrong here......

You may have uninstalled it but the dll remains. You need to put the original back in.

Ahh I see. So I replace the DLL I already have with one from a DLL site?

You could go from bad to worse because you have no idea what the file is that you get from outside sources. MS suggests that you put it back from the original install media. Google reinstall uxtheme.dll

So I just dealed with Replacer, I am running 7 and it's supposed to be for XP lol. Anyway no errors on the replacing proccess at all. (besides a data error, that was swiftly dealt with by me.) I dragged that DLL and that DLL, replace that dll with that dll blah blah, Complete.
Edit: It messed up my explorer it seems.
Edit 2: Fixed by a quick windows dll renaming.
