My VM won't detect my Alfa AWUS036NHA usb wifi adapter

I'm running the following configuration

Dell Inspiron 17R 5721 laptop as Host
Windows 8 Host OS
VirtualBox 4.3.30
Alfa AWUS036NHA network card connected to USB
VirtualBox Extension Pack
I already installed the Windows drivers, I don't think my Kali linux virtual machine is identifying the card because it doesn't show up when I run lsusb in my Kali VM

So, how do I make it so that my Alfa AWUS036NHA is detected and works with my Kali VM?
