VB5.0: can't boot anything Error in supR3HardenedWinReSpawn

Hi,

just after updating to Virtual Box 5.0 I had to find out I can not start any guest virtual machine anymore. The error is always the same: Error in supR3HardenedWinReSpawn

I've read this was related to some antivirus software and was fixed in the 4.3 branch ... but it seems it wasn't for me. I'm running "Windows 7 x64 sp1 MSDNAA license" with "Bitdefender Antivirus Free Edition". Any ideas what to do about it?

No ideas?

Nothing is working with Virtual Box 5.0.

And I just upgraded to Windows 10... exactly same error.

I was experiencing the same issue after upgrading to Windows 10. I was able to resolve the issue by first unistalling Virtual Box and then reinstalling it. Although I can't select a ISO image to mount on a running VM.
