Scaled hidpi resolutions

With version 5.0 of virtualbox, scaled hidpi resolutions don't appear to work properly with a Windows 7 guest. I use 1920x1200 hi-dpi in OSX, and the VM thinks 3840x2400 is the computer's native resolution. Only the "best for retina" resolution has the VM seeing the proper 2880x1800 resolution. Using the scaling preferences in VIrtualbox still results in a blurry screen, as no percentage will bring it down to the exact native resolution. Any idea how to fix this issue?
